We meet while trying to buy tickets for the sea bus (on the North Van side) you had glasses on. We sat across from each other on the sea bus... I was on my way to a Whitecaps game with my friend and I saw a few people I knew on the boat.

We were on the #16 northbound around 11 am, we both got off at Arbutus and Broadway. You were dressed in all black with black headphones, dark hair, big duffle bag. I was trying to think of a way to talk to you as I was crossing the street but you did it for me; said my umbrella was the coolest one you'd seen in Vancouver (high praise in this rainy city). I told you I got it from the Art Gallery. I wanted to talk more but was shy and late for work, you kept walking past Broadway and I had to wait for my next bus. Hope I see you again, maybe on the bus.

You had absolutely gorgeous blonde hair that you continuously tossed left and right, as if this wasn't enough to draw my attention. Unfortunately the grip of the guys you had decided to spend the evening with did not seem like my type... Let alone like they had shared the same interests or for that matter,hair cut as I did. This is crazy and I am sure you will not see this as it is as crazy as I am writing it? I was walking toward and into the Vitamin Store, you in the other direction, and somehow...our eyes met, a glance at first, then another, then kinda a quick smirk from both of us...but for sure a shyness and attraction. Kinda magnetic>>>you know what I mean...you walked by the window and looked in..and yes I hoped you would look inside and you did..I made sure to see you also! Wow! what an beautiful woman! I hurried and tried to find you in my car...you were long gone!>>>>but I felt a huge connection somehow...we should meet!!! I should let you know that I am attached, but I expect you are too...you are way too fine not to be! Anyway....as I said....a crazy idea and I have never done this before...for sure! My car ran out of gas, as the light was changing in the intersection from 16 th street to fell. You jumped out of your own car to help me move my car out of the intersection. You then stayed and helped me MOVE and PUSH the car into a safer area. YOU ARE AN AWESOME WOMAN!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I did not get the chance to thank you properly. All the best to you!!!

A little after 6pm, I was running clockwise around False Creek; you were running counter. First saw you on the south side near the water fountain, then again on the north side near Rogers Arena where we did the typical Vancouver polite smile and nod in recognition without actually stopping to say hello.
