It was 9:15 p.m. when I got on the train at Joyce and sat across from you until you got off at Nanaimo. I was the gal with short dark hair in a checkered fedora, burgundy dress, leggings, and black bomber jacket. I was too busy being a fool and twiddling my thumbs instead of making my smile face at you—the beautiful blonde with a chain on your jeans and a big black file folder in your lap. You were pretty into your iPod, so I don't know if you noticed me, but golly gee, you were even more wonderful to look at than the sunset tonight. And yes, I do have some wine to go with that cheese. Care to join me for some?
