I Saw Yous

Only one day, one hour, one minute

You know who I am. Thanks for a wonderful conversation and marvelous night. I really appreciate your honesty. Coffee next time in Michigan or perhaps Mexico?

Professor sweater at Brewhall

I can't remember your name, but I was bartending and you came in and I felt like we connected. You were ginger with a glorious oversized cardigan which we both agreed made you look like a professor

You shared a cute smile with me then vanished. It was all too rapid. I was elbow deep in the fresh DVD inbox finding treasure. The box set of Undeclared nearly fell from my hands as I fumbled it in the air. I spotted you in the corner of my eye. I am so shy. You navigated around to my side of the media table. I was still dazed and confused by the realization that I had Freaks and Geeks in that same find. I looked up and we made eye contact and you made a real smile for me. I stumbled over to the record pile to collect my thoughts. Only to see you shuffle down the store never too be seen again. Your eyes are blue and that peasant blouse was so, so hot. I am a normal man that just needs time to react to such strong feelings rushing in all directions. I made an orbit of the store hoping to find you and make first contact. Probably a joke about the 2 shows I just recovered or something about how hot it is and its nothing like the East Coast. Whatever it takes to impress / melt your heart. Hope you find this.

Writing this defies all reason and logic but here goes... You were trying on a white kit cardigan sweater. I commented it looked nice. Realizing I was probably over stepping boundaries I backed off and kept my mouth shut. I was totally enamored by your demeanour and beauty.

Vancouver Art Gallery

I noticed you when you first came into the art gallery. You were there alone and had a security guard take your picture by the staircase also you were wearing a sun hat with a cardigan and jeans (?) I was there with a friend and was wearing a plaid blue shirt and jeans. As we were leaving our eyes met and we both smiled at eachother. I wanted to ask on what you thought of the pieces that were displayed but lost sight of you through the shuffle. Maybe over coffee sometime?

Why Does He Do That?

You turned out the porch light...however will I navigate these stairs, I thought. You put your hand on my wrist...there was no reason, no excuse for that. But it was there, your hand on my wrist, my stuff on the porch, disappointment squeezing and strangling my heart.

You bought me cigarettes on Christmas

We were at the 16th and arbutus (or whatever it is) chevron gas station and you bought my Belmont’s when my cash was declined. I would’ve asked for your number if I knew my family wasn’t watching. You were in a grey toque and I regret my hesitation immediately. Hit me up!

IGA on Robson, Sunday night

We met at the IGA on Robson. You smiled at me, then approached me asking if I needed a basket, as you always saw girls forgetting to get one and carrying stuff around in their arms. I thought it was really nice of you. I know the odds of you reading this message are pretty slim, but if you do, wanna go for coffee?

When: Sunday, October, 15 2017

Angela. Met you Sunday afternoon Oct. 1

Angela. Had noticed you a couple times in the past. Got the nerve to stop and chat with you outside of IGA around 530 pm Oct. 1. We spoke of the Film Biz. I asked if you worked in the Industry--was sure I had seen you before. I said I was a fishing guide who occasionally worked as Marine Film support. Kicked myself for not asking you if you would have a glass of wine with me sometime. If you wished. Jason

Humming at Dollar Grocer

You: Humming to yourself tunes in Dollar Grocer on Commercial Drive. You have a fibonacci tattoo on the inside of your arm, striking cerulean eyes, a galaxy of freckles on your pale skin, and wild auburn hair I dream of getting lost in. Me: Long haired man in striped sweater trying to figure out how to accidentally touch your hand while picking apples. I've seen you around Gastown and Commercial Drive and I can't stop thinking about you. Maybe you can hum tunes to me while I navigate your mane?

Well that was weird

I was talking to an acquaintance recently when I realized that he was describing things he was...
