Mary Polak defeats B.C. Conservative Leader John Cummins in Langley

      Mary Polak is returning to the legislature as the MLA for Langley.

      The transportation and infrastructure minister has easily beaten back a challenge from the NDP's Andrew Mercier and B.C. Conservative Leader John Cummins.

      With 47 of 160 ballot boxes counted, Polak has 51.17 percent of the votes. Mercier is in second with 26.79 percent.
