The Live Agency + Live Acts presents:

Phenix Warren with special guests Sam Lynch, Molly Aspinall and Bre McDaniel

Phenix Warren (Vancouver) // https://www.phenixwarren.com/

Phenix is a Vancouver BC / Calgary AB based singer songwriter hailing from Calgary Alberta. With beautifully intimate live shows, and backlog of home recorded song's soon to be released on a full length LP Phenix Warren is hitting the Canadian music scene with quiet, reflective stories.

Sam Lynch (Vancouver) // http://www.samlynchmusic.com/

Sam Lynch is a daydreamer, a wanderer, and a restless mind, who sings her heart onto her sleeve by way of reflective, honest lyrics, and a nuanced, emotionally transparent live performance. She stands armed with a guitar and a voice that carries echoes from decades passed—yet still commands space in the current tapestry—garnering her comparisons to the likes of Feist and Cat Power. The stark honesty in Sam’s writing translates a sense of immediacy to her stories: some very personal and detailed, others more sweeping and symbolic. Sam seeks out the sweet spots where vulnerability and strength meet, where guarded hearts find companionship, and where connection shines light into darkness. Sam currently resides in Vancouver, BC, where she is preparing to release her debut EP in 2018.

Molly Aspinall (Vancouver) //

Artist based out of Vancouver, B.C.

Bre McDaniel (Vancouver) // http://www.bremcdaniel.com/

Bre McDaniel's voice has been described as magic on toast. Her songs hold a painterly attention in the way she crafts lyric images and sonic palettes, perhaps a result of her discovering herself as a songwriter during her degree in visual arts. Her recent EP has "an ethereal but intimate dream-folk sound," (Georgia Straight) and her roots in Canadian acoustic music are close by. Her mother was also a singer/songwriter and they share a birth date on an annual meteor shower called the Tears of St Lawrence. Bre can't help but draw, paint and sing about life as it happens, and has been touring Western Canada in support of her release, "Light Pollution". “McDaniel proves she has the tools to transcend the limits of folk music on Light Pollution; she channels the light into something beautiful.” – Gray Owl Point
