To kick off #SciFiFall, the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre presents: Star Trek 50th Anniversary Celebration with Geeks versus Nerds Vancouver.

Geeks versus Nerds Vancouver is beaming up to the H.R. MacMillan Space Center to celebrate 50 Years of Star Trek. On September 8, 2016, they'll be asking (and answering) the age-old question: "Who is the Greatest Starship Captain?" James T. Kirk or Jean-Luc Picard?

Come support your favourite Star Trek Captain as two teams of comedians, Geeks supporting Kirk and Nerds supporting Picard, will debate who was the better captain. After, we’ll revisit a classic documentary from 1999 that delves in the hilarious and devoted fan culture around Star Trek in Trekkies (1999). Admission includes both programs.
