Midsummer (a play with songs) at Studio 16

Gentle pop tunes, car chases, bar drinking, Japanese bondage, and marriage gone awry help make Midsummer (a play with songs) a very unconventional musical. When Théâtre la Seizième presents the Montreal production from Tuesday to Saturday (April 28 to May 2) at Studio 16, it’ll be presented with English surtitles at certain shows.

It starts at the bar, with a female lawyer waiting for her married lover; at the other end is a guy waiting to be given the keys to a stolen car. From there, it’s quite a ride as they hook up for an adventure over the next 48 hours.
