Get ready to be dazzled by over 30 illuminated artworks and light-based projections.

Celebrating its 10th year, the Lumière Festival is showcasing lit-up art installations and performances at over 10 locations around downtown Vancouver from November 2 to 6. The pieces are being created by local artists, as well as international ones from France, Poland, and the United States.

Some features include “Motion” at Morton Park with a Bike Decorating “Bling” Workshop, where you can join artist Corey Redvers while he demonstrates how to “light up your bike.” After, you can ride your bike through another installation: “The Tunnel” by Paul Magnuson. The work features a series of 12-foot-tall cosmic structures that create a tunnel of magical light.

As the city’s natural light fades, the artistic light comes alive.
