Tributes to #DowntownDeer pour in after deadly car crash in Stanley Park

      Vancouver fell in love with a young deer that wandered into the downtown core in July.

      Now, as often happens in human-wildlife encounters, the mammal has likely met its end on the Stanley Park Causeway.

      Locals are taking to Twitter to fondly remember the Downtown Deer.

      So far, there's no word about any plans for a #DowntownDeer memorial. (Remember #DeadRaccoonTO?)

      there was talk at first of park's board, relocating the deer. What happened?.Human's are to blame!?//
