The Ultimate Fighting Championship looks set to make its return to Vancouver on June 11 with a card featuring some of the superstars of the mixed-martial-arts world.

According to reports by MMA Weekly and Sherdog, former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar and top contender Junior dos Santos, the coaches of season 13 of The Ultimate Fighter, are expected to headline UFC 131 at the Rogers Arena.

Kenny Florian is slated to make his featherweight debut against Diego Nunes.

Former interim heavyweight champion Shane Carwin and a matchup of featherweights Dustin Poirier and Rani Yahya are also expected to be on the fight card.

The UFC has yet to officially announced any details about its UFC 131 event.

At UFC 115 in June 2010, the MMA promotion's first event in Vancouver, former middleweight champion Rich Franklin knocked out former light heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell to conclude the latter's career in the Octagon.

      WHAT UFC really stands for:

      UNFAIR FIGHTING CONDONED

There was an old joke that went "Never hit a man when he's down, kick him it's easier!"

The UFC's adaptation is "Never hit a man when he's down, punch, choke or gouge him instead....it's easier and we allow it!"

Come on Gregor and your cronies on council, fend off Mr. White and his travelling show of greed and brutality.......Vancouver is classier then this lot.

Billy, being from Vancouver, I'm sure you're a Canucks fan. Hockey fights are just as bad, if not worse than UFC. Hockey is the only sport in the world that allows bare-knuckle boxing.......on ice no less. Stop being a puss.

Texas84....super intelligent, I'm impressed you actually spelled everything correctly.

What an ass card! Again, Van gets stuck with a paltry card (on paper at least), compared to Montreal, and now Toronto (who's getting that mega card, with two belt fights, fack!!!). However, in the end, Van's previous card turned out not too badley. Anyways, JDS is cool, but Brock...I could care less about. And Ken-Flo??? Big fricking deal! Florian is ultra weak and a major choker, who crumbles in title fights (just like Fitch, whom I hope looses to BJ). Montreal got Shogun, Toronto gets Aldo and GSP, Van got Franklin & Liddell, and now Brock...Ugh. C'mon Dana??

To Whipper Billy: You are clueless. Gouging is not allowed in the ufc. Furthermore, your coments make you seem like a major stick in the mud. Maybe you're some snooty west sider with old money, who's against young people having fun?? Regardless, your comments make us laugh, because if you think Gregor will not allow these fights, then you probably think he's not on the take either. Besides, Gregor won't matter anymore, he'll be out the door soon. And btw, Vancouver is NOT classier than this (well maybe they like to think they are in Point Grey or BP). Van's got a serious underbelly, and it's playing catch up with the rest of the world. Hell in a handbasket my friends, just wait and see...

Jaymz, this card wil not be one of the highest selling, actually. I doubt Van will even touch T-dot in sales, don't forget Aus too, ya dummy. Btw, how am I an idiot? You like Lesnar and Ken-Flo? Two lame ducks. JDS will smash Brock. Yeah, full of talent buddy. There's been fight night cards that are better than this. T-dot and Montreal get/got better cards, face it. You sound like you know nothing of mma and ufc.
