TranSUCKS !.

So sick of the Translink BULLSHIT !. How the hell would Translink react IF we ALL stopped using it, to protest OUR upset, on the busiest day of the week !. It's 2014 soon to be 2015 get it together. Translink a lot of people really depend on you, start taking accountability, and place the blame where it really belongs, instead of making excuses and throwing innocent people under the bus !.

That was ridiculous. The sky train breaks and they say walk on the tracks to the next station. WHAT?!!! Unbelievable.

Yeah:
I don't think people were made to do that. I think they decided to do that all by themselves.

I like translink. Even at the slowest time of night you only wait 30 mins for a bus. It's affordable and rush hour is only like 30 mins long. We have it sweet compared to Sao Paolo/New York/London.

Just imagine if there was an earthquake, as was mentioned on the news, and having to walk along what might be left of the tracks. I totally agree ALL riders should really stick it to Translink and go on strike on the busiest day possible. How much revenue would they loose ?!.

How often has this happened in the past?? Try taking the Tube in London. That is insane. Be glad and thankful we are here in cozy Vancouver and not crazy ass London. We should also be so lucky that the transit is so affordable!

Seriously, chill out.

irritating yes but

You people are complaining a lot considering this has never happened before. Its a fluke there was 2 instances during the same week. Gi somewhere else and you'll see that the transit system here really isn't bad at all when compared to others. They need a plan to deal with it but yes but stop acting like this system is completely broken when it is far from that.

Huh ?!.

Exactly go somewhere else and you will see that Translink IS that bad, compared to many other countries !.

Well what do you expect? All systems fail from time to time, that's life. Do you want SkyTrain to come equipped with yellow rubber inflatable slides, like an airplane? Get real. The only thing that sucks is that there are no washrooms on board, like trains in Europe. But then half of us couldn't afford to ride it.

====================

I hear your frustration, but considering how heavily subsidized Translink is, it wouldn't make any difference at all. They'd just hit the Provincial government (ie. all of us taxpayers) for a higher subsidy. That's it, that's all.

Yep, we really showed 'em that time!!
