I had 2 days of insomnia a month ago and I LOVE SLEEP. I had to work as well which sucked. Then a week after I caught up on sleep the assholes beside me had a loud drunken talking and music party from 4am to 7:45am. Seriously 7:45am? Fuck go to bed douche bags!

If you had a fractured bone, would they put you on painkillers? I think it depends on the bone that was fractured. I guess even then, you'd have to kick those painkillers eventually. This is a tough one, because we need sleep. We need several hours of uninterrupted sleep. That's a really tough one; prescription sleepers are what has saved me from losing it, I'm sure. I don't know what to say to help you. Maybe there's a sleep study looking for people with our problem? Contact the Sleep Disorders Clinic, if you haven't already. I'm sorry I don't know what else to advise. I hope you can find help.

1-use a fan for white noise
2-warrm milk..yes it has trypto..
3-raw pumpkin seeds from Superstore $4.00 a bag
4-try not to watch tv or talk on your cell too close to bed it interupts your sleep because the blue lights confuse you rythems
5-do not exersize or do anything that ramps up your heart rate too close to bed
6-no coffee, cigs or any caffine
7-sleep nude or without restricting bed clothes
8-do not force yourself...if u can't sleep get up and have some camomile tea..remember the bed is for sleep no anxiety.
9-do not sleep moe than an hour or two in the day..it confuses your rythems
10-do not fret..you will eventually sleep if for no other reason but that your body is totally exhausted.
Try some in combination and hope you find what works 4 u. There are many more tips but i can not think of them right now. So good luck fellow insomniac (:

I'm constantly being woken up by my blood sugar levels dropping. Ask your doc about this specifically. It might help!
