Dan offers some advice on where she might find it.

Like most comedy shows
But what I find really scary is that the shows like cops, border security, jail etc and many other show that impinge on privacy rights relentlessly and have almost zero viewership stay on the air despite such dismal ratings. Are the powers that be softening us up for the inevitable emergence of the fascist police state?

You need to have a minimum of wit and intelligence to understand it.
May I suggest Sesame Street ?

The show is basically a fantasy for nerds and geeks the world over that eventually women will take interest in them. The cute blonde who lives in the apartment across the hall? Its possible that she'll want to get to know you and love will blossom. If Penny isn't your taste and your expectations are a bit more realistic, don't worry, you might meet an equally geeky girl like Amy and won't have to wait for an Ex-Machina type of solution.
My ex used to love it

So i would watch it with her, and i realized that for me, its the same as King of the Hill.I dont hate it, there is something about it that keeps my attention, but at best, the show makes me smirk once every three or four episodes.
I don't get it either

Kind of like every other sitcom on cable tv to come out in the last 15 years. Okay, Arrested Development was hilarious but anybody got any others? Seinfeld was the end of funny tv in my opinion.

I heard so much about it, thought I should look it up. I sampled a couple of scenes on Youtube, and it made me cringe so much. It tried too hard, didn't feel natural and wasn't funny. If you want a funny and interesting geeky show, I suggest "Silicon Valley."

My Dad loves it. I don't get it at all. I also never understood the viewers of Always Sunny In Philadelphia. A sitcom about 4 assholes who run a bar! A least Danny DeVito is funny, but everyone else, christ what counts as sitcoms these days?! Also, remember Friends was VERY popular in the 1990s. And that show was hell to sit through. And yet shows with REALLY GREAT writers like The Larry Sanders Show and Get A Life get a limited run. TV has always been about simple minds.
