They've transported me to hospital numerous times. I can't say they've ever done much more for me than provide transportation, but I don't know that they could have done more than that for me and I hope at least that it was a little respite for their more stressful calls. I can't imagine saving lives for a living. I can't imagine having to try to and try to and try to and not always being able to. I can't imagine having to respond to so many overdoses, over and over, without being able to do anything about the root causes of the problem.
