You see all the bad reports in the news. Terrorists doing this and politicians doing that. Yes, the world is in turmoil, but this is all a distraction. The world has already received it's death blow. They can't stop Fukushima, or they won't stop it from melting down in the Pacific. There are dead zones in the pacific now. It's going to continue and escalate. There is no stopping this. We are going to see more radioactive clouds and rain. All life in the ocean and land will die. This is why cannibalism is making it's way into the mainstream. Spirit Cooking, Drew Barrymore's new cannibal show. Even ISIS is promoting cannibalism and we all know the global powers that control them. Our world is going to die, and we are literally about to devour each other demographic by demographic, because being at the top of the food chain we are the last to go.

You've been reading too much Steve Bannon and company.
Why anyone would want to survive the apocalypse (biological programming aside) is beyond me. It's going to be quite awful afterwards, likely for longer than your lifespan. Maybe much longer.
Set against that, death seems okay. Besides, it will be harder to find decent company, and I have trouble as is.
Insufficient narcissism to survive, I suppose (reference: Sherlock Holmes in the series "Elementary"). Just as well.

I think I'd rather swallow a slug than eat another human.

cannibalism usually leads to illness. this culture fad may be a commentary on our current views of people, feeling eaten and disposable, maybe. Or individualism. or up against the world.or not.

So.... this is why you shouldn't smoke weed and binge-watch "The Walking Dead" before posting a confession.

The world is actually more peaceful now than at any other time in the civilized world. Crime rate is down considerably in Canada.
As for Fukoshima, just don't eat sushi or go swimming 200 km off Japan..
