Dancing Shoes

Ten years ago I was out dancing 3-4 nights a week. What happened?? Don't get old.

Look, no one wants to see, or be that 50 year old guy at the disco but there's plenty of dancing left in you, if you feel this way.

Maybe you have to find a different style of music (or be a radical who doesn't GAF) but don't let getting old be your excuse to die before your time.

Because we really will be too old soon enough.

Fuck wasting time. I'm signing up for ballroom tonight!

Music + Dancing = Good Life

20 or so years ago we laughed at the line from a house track, "... just a little bit too old to be in the club." Now, I really don't care about my age going dancing, as rare as it is these days, and I saw plenty of middle agers when I went out on the long weekend(thanks Nordic Trax!) so I know I others in my age group feel this way (also because we've talked about it). Yes, life changes our regular habits and I went from several nights out per week to weekly then to rarely. Weekly for me was great, I have always had a huge love of music and dance, and as a person who loves heating up the dance floor with hours of stamina (then), I felt mentally and physically fantastic in those days. So now I'm trying (and encouraging my friends) to get back to this a minimum of every 6 weeks. So all of you feeling like you miss the days of good music, dancing, and good people, let's get out and do this!! = Good Life!!
