this was ages ago, but i was wearing an orange shirt and i was with my friend waiting for the 214 in the summer. we kept looking at each other while we waited even though you were by the edge of the sidewalk and we were by the steps so you had to turn to look back at us. you got in line for the bus before we did and while we were in line you said hi to me. i swear i meant to say hi back, but in what is inevitably cheesy to say i was so taken aback by how pretty your eyes were that i didn’t say hi back. my phone was dead that day otherwise i would’ve asked for your number during the ride. posting this is the longest shot in a billion ways but i haven’t stopped thinking about you since… i doubt you’ve thought about this interaction but you’ve kind of become my roman empire.

You were an instigator. Charging into the crowd in front of centre stage you blasted everyone one around and initiated the show-long mosh pit. I thought you were someone I knew because of the familiar brutality. Sharp elbows and a solid hit--didn't expect that from a hot woman with long dark hair and fringe (NO!, bangs!), a crocheted net top over some other orange-y/brown shirt and 70's jeans. I continued to wear a black mask all show and a black hoodie for part of it. I don't think you are from around here--and by "around here" I mean this planet--so get in touch with me because I'd like to learn more about where your kind gets their power. You got on at Commercial-Broadway and sat down in view of me. Smiles behind the mask directed my way 1,2,3,4+..times as we pass Main St Station and into Stadium. You with the beautiful unique black coat with designs I want to study, red-orange colour eye shadow above your gorgeous eyes, healthy black wavy hair with a matching black mask. Thoughts of offering you the 2nd ticket I had to the game so we could get to know each other crossed my mind... but I froze and didn't. Silently I stepped off the train for the game, passing in front of you for one last smile, doors shut and you continued on your journey. It's been a long time since anyone has looked at me like that and I would like to get to know you.

We exchanged some fun conversation and I'm glad we got your name, Alicia (sp), which opened up the conversation. You were showing my friend and I how during the downpour the other day you had to dance between the tents to stay dry.
