Luxury furniture house SwitzerCultCreative has opened a new Vancouver showroom at 1725 West 3rd Avenue.

The company was founded by Renee Switzer, daughter of renowned Vancouver-based designer William Switzer, four years ago. She launched the brand internationally in 2013 through an exclusive collaboration with artist Douglas Coupland, and has since grown the home furnishings house into one of the city’s most well-known names.

Shoppers can expect to find furnishings and home accents from both local and international lines in the new showroom, including velvet dining chairs by Slovenian Nika Zupanc, geometric tables from Vancouver’s Sholto Scruton, and luxe fabrics by Victoria-based designer Iván Meade. The highly edited stock, which is managed by Switzer and her son Adam Bellas, values sustainability and handcraftsmanship.

“With our collections, your child can eat right off the table—without a placemat—and you will know there aren’t any chemicals that may be harmful to their wellbeing,” says Switzer in a press release.

The SwitzerCultCreative showroom is now open Monday to Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Click through the gallery above to view a few of our favourite pieces.
