The Harpoonist & the Axe Murderer brought the house down earlier today at the Straight headquarters, as part of our monthly #StraightUnplugged concert series in honour of our 50th year in existence.

Members Shawn Hall and Matthew Rogers were featured on our cover earlier this year, and were joined today by Dawn Pemberton, who added her killer pipes to the band's bluesy jams.

After playing a few of their own tracks, the band treated audience members to a cover of Steely Dan's My Old School.

If you missed our Facebook Live recording of the concert, browse the images below to get a feel for the concert.

Stay tuned to hear about the next show in our #StraightUnplugged series.
