Capilano Universe Lecture Series 2018

Many communities around the world are currently battling an opioid epidemic and knowing the science behind addictions is one way to help you and your community mitigate harm.

Join us for this free talk given by Dr. Deyar Asmaro in partnership with Capilano University.This talk will introduce biological and pharmacological concepts that are relevant to understanding addiction behaviour. Heroin and fentanyl will be highlighted in order to increase public awareness about the biology and psychology behind overdoses and prolonged cycles of substance abuse.
