Owen Pallett’s Final Fantasy at St. Andrew’s–Wesley Church

Owen Pallett’s got game. And we’re not just talking about his sorta-solo side project, Final Fantasy, which you can catch at St. Andrew’s–Wesley Church on Friday (September 25). The Hogtown violinist-singer-composer, who won the prestigious Polaris Music Prize in 2006, is in demand for his orchestral and string arrangements. He’s worked with the likes of Arcade Fire, Stars, Pet Shop Boys, and Holy Fuck—not to be confused with Fucked Up, another band he’s contributed to. So don’t be fooled by his sweet Petit Prince peepers or his angelic choirboy voice: Pallett is the man when it comes to making music that sparkles.
