Amorita Bastaja

Ever try to meet people in Vancouver? You'll have better luck convincing Pete Doherty that crack doesn't taste yummy than you will getting someone to talk to you in a bar. So there you stand, wondering "Who are those people I see every time I go to a show?" You're too shy to ask, so we do it for you.

WHO ARE YOU?
"Amorita Bastaja". IN MY 9-TO-5 LIFE I'M AN:
"Assistant manager at a jeans store in Yaletown. It pays the rent." IF YOU'RE BUYING, I'LL HAVE:
"Tequila shots! Lots of lime and salt, please!" THE BEST SHOW I EVER SAW WAS:
"It would have to be Judas Priest in Vancouver [this past October 23]. I saw them down in Auburn, Washington, as well, but you can't beat meeting the band and front-row tickets." I WISH PEOPLE WOULD SHUT UP ABOUT:
"The Bertuzzi incident. I don't think anybody but the media cares about that anymore. If people stop scrutinizing his every move, he might be able to relax." THE LAST CONCERT T-SHIRT I BOUGHT WAS:
"I have never bought a concert T-shirt; I'd rather spend the money on beer! The last album shirt I bought was Iron Maiden's Killers, if that counts for anything." IN THE MOVIE OF MY LIFE, I'D BE PLAYED BY:
"Kate Hudson. She has this ability to be very glamourous but she is really rock 'n' roll at heart. The fact that she's married to Chris Robinson doesn't hurt either." IF only my name was pamela des barres... "At the end of the Priest show in Vancouver, [drummer] Scott Travis jumped off the stage, gave me a hug, handed me his last drumstick, and asked if I had a boyfriend. I was with my boyfriend, so I told him yes. I ran into him backstage after the show and he signed my drumstick and asked if I modelled here in Vancouver. He thought I was 19, which was pretty nice!"
