Left & Right... in the West

The division between left and right is getting intense. I have no idea what will happen these next few years, but I'm worried. It's like nobody can have a conversation anymore and everything is boiling over. What happened to reasonable thinking and discussion? ... I'm worried that one of these contentious conversations will break out on the bus and people will go crazy. It did once, and the bus driver had to just be like "This can't happen here", even though it was a public place and their views were valid. ... Tension. Bad tension. I do not like it.

Yes it's bad. All you can do is to try to make sure you're not a victim if/when things boil over.

The whole left right thing is so worn out

I'm getting older now, and I'm disappointed that this split is more entrenched than ever, and reduced to name calling. I hope the younger crowd can work from a new vision. Yelling and labelling "leftie" or "rightist" is pretty simplistic, like everything anymore.

People can't even look each other in the eyes anymore
let alone have a civil conversation .They are all too busy on there "smart " phones .Oh and that's if there's anyone around you that can speak English !!!! People don't TALK anymore .Look around see what's happening .Very sad what's going on out there .Social anxiety ......loneliness ....
All about technology .....scary to think what it will be like in 2 yrs or 5 yrs !!!!!

I think there is a lot of race tension building too.

And I know from going to the range to sight in my hunting rifle that there are a heck of a lot of people with handguns and semi-auto assault rifles. Scary, selfish, entitled arrogant twits too, to put it politely.
