Unfair

It's fine for you to appreciate other women in your head. I get that. Heck, I love beautiful women too. But to take the time to express your love for naked, beautiful chicks in a public forum feels disrespectful when we're newly married. It's especially unfair because women don't get to have the same experience. When was the last time a hetero guy posted a sexy photo of himself on Facebook or Instagram that I can enjoy? Never.

I think that what the poster means is that sex has become feminized and this has become normalized. It's true that women don't have the same experience to even the scales, but that's not the core issue here.

With all of the half naked perfect female bodies in the media and social networks, it puts a tremendous amount of pressure on women to attain certain (unrealistic) beauty standards. As a result, women never feel like they're good enough.

He's not respecting his new wife by being sensitive to her insecurities.

Said most couples only ever have the same fight, over and over. Try to fix this now before you're 20 years in.

You've picked a bad apple. Change will not be forthcoming and it will get worse, even if it becomes covert, rather than being open as it is now. Good people know what not to do - they don't need to be taught or told. Be careful and best wishes.

You're so right. If you're finding yourself explaining respect and decency to a grown man, you're in trouble.

So the opposite isn't true?

"With all of the half naked perfect female bodies in the media and social networks, it puts a tremendous amount of pressure on women to attain certain (unrealistic) beauty standards. As a result, women never feel like they're good enough."

Changing you post works well too:

"With all of the half naked perfect male bodies with perfect bodies (and being wealthy/successful) in the media and social networks, it puts a tremendous amount of pressure on men to attain certain (unrealistic) looks and success standards. As a result, men never feel like they're good enough.

The opposite IS true

Yes, it's true. There's pressure on men to be successful.
But we're discussing what the OP wrote here.
