He just wants to spend the day with you. Now my bf has a job where he can't do that so he goes all the time but in the beginning he just wanted to hang out with me on my days off.

He won't have to worry about calling in sick, because he will lose his job.
It may be cute if you're like 21 or something, but pretty loser move in the big picture. I have no idea why some people think that a pattern like that won't get noticed. It does. I have a small business and that would drive me nuts if someone did that constantly. FIRED!
I have worked with people like that before. What tends to happen is they keep their job if the company is short staffed or whatever. As soon as work slows down or someone more mature and hardworking gets hired, they get canned, as they should be!
