French electronic music legends AIR will play Vancouver on September 25, with the evening celebrating the 25th anniversary of the seminal album Moon Safari. The tour has the duo of Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel playing the record in its entirety for the first time in a live setting.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on March 8 at 10am.

Released in 1998, Moon Safari was hailed as one of the year’s great records, placing on multiple high-profile Top 10 lists. Tagged with labels like “space pop” and “chillout,” it would help draw up the template for downtempo EDM.

As part of the celebrations for Moon Safari, AIR will release an anniversary version of the album on March 15 featuring 10 cherry-picked rarities from the recording sessions.
