The Battle for Helm's Deep - in candy

I'm slow on the uptake here - this is from earlier this month - but if you haven't seen the Battle for Helm's Deep made out of candy yet, you really should.

The candy recreation of JRR Tolkien's famous battle is the product of Miss(ed) Manners, a blog by a nicely waspish, ambiguous smartypants and his trials and tribulations in New York. It's like the Mary Tyler Moore show, only completely different. Its About page reads, in part:

Miss(ed) Manners didn’t really start out as a blog, well it sort of did, kind of. One day, in 2004, on the way into work I got offered Crystal Meth and hot gay sex by a complete stranger and the retelling of it on a messageboard started what would become a weekly bitch fest. I’m not kidding....What I try to do is go out and find the 1% that are the complete and utter twats, just hang out with them all day and then illustrate why I think they should be shot in public.

Anyway, you want pictures of Lord of the Rings battles redone in Jolly Ranchers and Gummi Bears, don't you? And who wouldn't? Even JRR Tolkien would have worked in confections if the technology  had been there for him. Hit the link above for a larger image of the below and scene-by-scene recreations of that famous struggle between light and dark, in living sucralicious 2-D. (If you're not familiar with the battle, you could spend some time over at Wikipedia, where this is all so real to them, so real...)
