I think Fred Herzog is a buffoon [“Vancouver flashback”, Jan. 18-25]. Sorry, but I’ve had it up to here with shallow lamentations for a lost golden age, especially in cases where things have clearly gotten much better.

I don’t know how many people would actually want to have those cheesy signs back. Maybe a lot. I just couldn’t help noticing that there wasn’t a single tree visible in any of those photos.
