What about Groomzillas?

*Updated Feb. 1*

I once read that the wedding ceremony is one of the very few social events in our culture in which women are given an equal, if not more important, role. There is so much emphasis on the wedding day for some women (sometimes for their whole lives) that the pressure can outweight the benefits. That's where TV programs like Bridezilla, showing brides behaving badly, come in.

However, it's not just the brides. There are grooms that definitely have their moments.

Here's one from YouTube of a guy that snaps at the altar when his vows are unexpectedly interrupted.

Here's another one of an African American groom who has one of the strangest reactions I've ever seen.

Yet unfortunately, going back to brides, here is one of the most extreme reactions I've seen of a bride breaking down and flipping out just an hour before the wedding (takes a little while before the bride arrives). But you have to wonder about the friends who posted this on the internet. Does the bride know that this is circulating? Did they get her permission to post it?

There's a debate on the discussion board about whether it's staged or not.

It seems that it probably was staged: http://www.torontoist.com/archives/2007/01/famous_youtube.php
