Vision Vancouver is considering fielding candidates in the 2008 civic election not only for city council but also for the park and school boards.

“We are having those conversations very strongly,” Vision Coun. Heather Deal told the Straight. “There will be an announcement at some point.”

Michael Magee, president of Vision’s executive committee, said in an interview with the Straight that the party is getting “a lot of attention and demand” from people who want to see Vision candidates for city council and the two boards.

Vision elected four city councillors but did not run candidates for the park and school boards in the 2005 election.
