Young Pacific first to feel Saturday's heat at LIVE at Squamish

An apparently brutal accident on the Sea to Sky has meant that countless patrons and performers have yet to arrive at day two of LIVE At Squamish. Set times have been pushed slightly to reflect this, but the day's openers, Vancouver-based indie folk quintet Young Pacific, have just started their set with a round of homey vocal harmonies.

A slow trickle is making their way to the side stage performance with Dougie Dogs and Lemonades in hand. No doubt the place will get packed in the next hour or so, once the big league Stawamus and Garibaldi stages get going. Sets from Charles Bradley and Gold & Youth could be some early gems.

Gregory Adams is filing items of interest from the LIVE at Squamish festival this weekend. Tomorrow morning (August 26), look for his full review of today's show.
