When it comes to developing flamenco dance and music in both classic and contemporary styles, Flamenco Rosario is one of Vancouver’s best. Established in 1989, the company continues to be a hub for creative residencies, programs, and performances throughout the city.

On April 27, Flamenco Rosario will present Regeneration: Por Derecho, which translates to “in my own right”.

The show will feature an artist interpretation of flamenco from Spanish dancer Carmen Young Pérez, with Yurie Kaneko and Katia Flores accompanied by music from Gareth Owen (guitar), Davide Sampaolo (percussion), and Alvaro Echanove (vocals). It promises to be an evening of self-expression and self-exploration through dance.
