Indian Summer Festival cofounder and artistic director Sirish Rao shares his story of creativity on April 9

      Writer, producer, and cultural curator Sirish Rao, cofounder and artistic director of the Indian Summer Festival, will speak about his career experiences at a Creative Mornings event on April 9.

      The author of 20 books, which have been translated into 17 languages, Rao's background includes time with the Paul Getty Museum, Museum of London, National Institute of Design, Ahmedadad, and Kunsthal Rotterdam. Since cofounding the ISF with partner Laura Byspalko he has been responsible for introducing an array of noted contemporary artists to Vancouver.

      Musical guest for the event is Ruby Singh, a composer and sound designer who has worked with theatre and dance companies across Canada and created numerous scores for the National Film Board.
