Meet the just-announced participating artists in this year’s Vancouver Mural Fest

The Vancouver Mural Fest (VMF) has unveiled its lineup of artists for 2023. This year’s edition of the festival runs from August 4 to 13, with inclusivity being one of the dominant themes. In addition to street art, Vancouverites can expect street tours and talks, live performances, drag shows, circus performers, karaoke, and more.

The VMF hits the ground August 4 with afternoon mural tours, followed by a Public Disco Pride Special later in the evening at the Cobalt and Boxcar on Main. Other featuring happenings include a Mount Pleasant Street Party August 10 to 13, and a Scratch Bastid barbecue at the Birdhouse at 44 West Fourth Avenue on August 13.

First launched in 2016, the VMF has seen over 400 murals adorn buildings and spaces in Vancouver over the years.
