Prepare for the halls of Metropolis at Metrotown to be filled with the sounds of sweet music from local youth. Returning for a second year, Music Mania invites music students from the Lower Mainland to showcase their chops in daily shows at the Burnaby mall. 

The Burnaby North Secondary School marching band will perform throughout the mall, with stops at the Dolphin Pond and at the Grand Court’s garden display. The following days will see the students of CW Music and Performing Arts School, Tom Lee Music, and Modern Music Society of Canada take to the stage at the Grand Court. Plus, visitors can enter to win a $100 gift card to Tom Lee Music at each performance location.

The full schedule is:

• May 31 at 12pm to 1pm - Burnaby North Secondary School Marching Band to perform throughout the mall
• June 1 at 12pm to 2pm - CW Music and Performing Arts School featuring pop and soft rock music at the Grand Court
• June 2 at 12pm to 1pm - Tom Lee Music student pianists at the Grand Court
• June 2 at 1:30pm to 2:30pm - Modern Music Society of Canada, a non-profit organization, playing instruments with singing accompaniment at the Grand Court

It remains to be seen if anyone will perform this aptly-named classic:
