Vancouver Chamber Music Society hosts Sung-Won Yang and Enrico Pace for concert, Q&A, and masterclass

      Chamber music devotees will not want to miss this one.

      On November 5, the Vancouver Chamber Music Society and the Vancouver Academy of Music are hosting a three-pronged immersive event with acclaimed cellist Sung-Won Yang and Grammy-nominated pianist Enrico Pace.

      Starting at 2pm, the afternoon will feature a concert with these two celebrated musicians, as well as a Q&A session with both of them, as well as a masterclass with Yang. The show portion will see these two artists perform a series of chamber music compositions: 5 Pieces in Folkstyle by Robert Schumann; Cello Sonata No.2, Op.58 by Felix Mendelssohn; Pohádka (Fairy Tale) for Cello & Piano by Leoš Janáček; and Sonata for Cello & Piano in F Major, Op.6 by Richard Strauss.

      • 2 to 3:30pm: Performance
      • 3:30 to 4:00pm: Intermission (with refreshments!)
      • 4:00 to 4:30pm: Q&A session
      • 4:30 to 5:30pm: Masterclass
