Three of my fave guitarists--Carlos Santana, Warren Haynes, and Derek Trucks--sat down with luthier Paul Reed Smith a while back to chat informally about what they strive for musically in terms of tone.

I particularly enjoyed the part where Santana talks about combining "holiness and motherfuckingness". Man that dude is cool.
