Live Nation has announced that rockabilly band Reverend Horton Heat will play the Commodore Ballroom on Thursday, September 7, with guests Strung Out and Larry and His Flask.

Formed in 1985, the Reverend Horton Heat entered the scene by playing gigs around their hometown of Dallas, Texas, mixing elements of surf, country, punk, big band, and rockabilly to create their own genre. The Rev has continued to garner the support of the underground rockabilly/psychobilly scene and mainstream critics. Throughout the band's career their music has been featured in countless TV shows, movies, and commercials.

Tickets for the Vancouver show are priced at $35 (plus service charges and fees) and go on sale to the general public this Wednesday (May 10) at 10 am on the Ticketmaster website.
