Willie Nelson and Snoop Dogg collaboration proves the power of pot

It’s funny how the United States of America’s War on Drugs contingent has never figured out the true beauty of marijuana, namely that it has the power to bring the most unlikely of folks together.

Take, for example, Snoop Dogg and Willie Nelson who, on the surface, would appear to have about as much in common as Chuck D and Toby Keith. Honestly, if it wasn’t for their undying love of waking-and-baking what could they possibly have to talk about, besides the fact that they both look pretty fucking sexy in pigtails?

But lo and behold, there are the two well-documented stoners in a new video for “Superman”. You want crazy? That would be ol’ Willie informing a 2009 live audience of Dutch country crackers “So we got Snoop!”, and then said audience in Amsterdam actually cheering the MC’s on-stage arrival. That archival footage is spliced with new in-studio video of the Doggfather and the Red Headed Stranger trading verses in “Superman” over acoustic guitar and some mighty fine harp.

Blaze up and enjoy, especially the part where, after visiting a coffee shop in Amsterdam, Snoop and Willie retire to a hotel room and proceed to prove that even professional potheads can sometimes hit the bong with a little too much enthusiasm.
