In preparation for warmer weather, the South Granville BIA has announced a summer schedule of free outdoor activations to highlight its art scene, culinary must-visits, and more. 

Here’s a complete list of events:

Bonsai Exhibit

View bonsai art on display and for sale via the BC Bonsai Society.

When: June 2, 11am to 1pm

Where: South Granville Plaza West (13th Avenue)

Summer Sounds Concert Series

Outdoor orchestra performances by the Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra.

When: 

• June 14, 7pm - “Royalcore” music (think: Bridgerton-style covers)
• July 18, 7pm - 2000s R&B slow jams
• August 22, 7pm - Pop music concert at the park with a 25-piece ensemble

Board Game Nights

Bring your own games or borrow from designated stations.

When: June 27 and July 25, 5:30pm to 8:30pm

Bend & Flow Yoga

Outdoor yoga in the park.

An outdoor weekend market featuring local vendors, food trucks, and live entertainment.
