After a mysterious crystal was brought to earth by a brave explorer, the planet experienced a time of unprecedented prosperity. However, generations later, society has become obsessed with wealth and perfection and citizens work for the same all-powerful corporation. Living on the outskirts of the community, Dr. Coppelius has built a collection of uncanny automatons that are free to express truer desires. Follow an adventurous worker on a journey to break free from society’s limits and discover their ultimate destiny. Dance, sideshow, drag, burlesque, and theatre come together to offer a dark buffet for the senses. Challenging assumptions and igniting the imagination, Dr. Coppelius is an allegorical wonderland inspired by the classic ballet, Coppelia.
