It's a nice day to visit a City of Vancouver Pop-Up Plaza

Just saw a tweet from the City of Vancouver reminding people about its Pop-Up Plazas:

The temporary gathering places have been created by the city in partnership with BIAs (business improvement associations), local businesses, and communities in order to help businesses reopen and give residents more public space to enjoy.

"Temporary pop-up plazas are one of the steps we're taking to help residents and businesses adapt to living and operating through a pandemic," reads the description on the city's website. "They give people space to eat, visit, rest, or enjoy the weather while maintaining a safe distance from each other."

Pop-Up Plazas are currently located at East 27th & Fraser, West 13th & Granville, West 14th & Granville, West 17th & Cambie, West 18th & Cambie, 200-block Carrall St., Helmcken St. (Hamilton to Mainland), Bute & Alberni, Bute & Davie (north), and East 21st & Main.
