Migos member Takeoff shot dead at 28 after dispute at Texas bowling alley

      Migos rapper Takeoff is being reported as shot dead this morning as part of a dispute outside of a Houston bowling alley. The musician, born Kirshnik Khari Ball in Lawrenceville, Georgia, was 28.

      Multiple news reports have cited the shooting as being the result of a fight over a dice game at a private party attended by approximately 50 people. Two other attendees were injured and taken to hospital.

      Police have not identified Takeoff as the person killed, only releasing the description of the deceased as a Black male in his late 20s.

      Featuring Takeoff as well as rappers Offset and Quavo, Migos received best rap album Grammy nominations for 2017’s Culture, as well as best rap performance nominations for the album’s “Bad and Boujee”.
