A train carrying pulp has gone off the tracks about 25 kilometres north of Pemberton.

Two CN cars plunged into the Gates Lake, according to Twitter photos taken by writer and nearby resident Owen Laukkanen. (See below).

      There are no reported injuries.

The train was not carrying hazardous goods.

An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the derailment.

Last September, another train derailment sent railcars into the same lake.
