Over the past few days, Lower Mainland police forces have been involved in one of the most extensive manhunts of the year in Canada.

And this morning, Surrey Mounties announced that a prime suspect in the shooting of Const. Josh Harms was arrested without incident.

Daon Gordon Glasgow, 35, was taking into custody in the 7500 block of Boundary Road around 5:30 a.m. in Burnaby.

Prior to the arrest, officers evacuated all other units in the residential complex. Three others were also taken into custody but were later released.

Glasgow was the subject of a Canada-wide warrant following the January 30th late-afternoon attack on Harms at Scott Road Station.

Harms was taken to Royal Columbian Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

      He's now recovering at home.
