Daniel Sedin notched his third overtime-winning goal of the year, staving off embarrassment for the Canucks in Chicago.

It was his second goal of the game as Vancouver beat the Blackhawks 5-4.

After a scoreless first period, the Canucks jumped out to a 3-1 lead in the second period on goals by Linden Vey, Bo Horvat, and Zack Kassian.

It was the third consecutive game in which Kassian has scored.

But the 'Hawks came roaring back in the third period with power-play goals by Marian Hossa and Duncan Keith. Between those markers, Daniel Sedin scored his first goal of the game.

But with 55 seconds left in the game, Hossa tied the score 4-4 with his second goal. It came on a sharp-angle shot that Canucks goalie Eddie Lack could have stopped.

On Friday (February 13), the Canucks are back at home to host the Boston Bruins at Rogers Arena.
