Deer runs through Strathcona, Chinatown, Downtown Eastside, and Gastown

      It's not news when people spot a deer in the Victoria suburb of Oak Bay.

      And there's certainly nothing out of the ordinary when deer are seen on Salt Spring Island.

      But it's far more unusual for one of these animals to charge through the oldest neighbourhoods of Vancouver.

      Naturally, this got people excited on social media as deer sightings were recorded in Strathcona, Chinatown, the Downtown Eastside, and Gastown.
