West Vancouver police seek male suspect who exposed himself to female cyclist
West Vancouver police are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating a male suspect who was allegedly involved in an indecent exposure incident.
Around 7:30 p.m. on September 20, a woman was cycling in the 100 block of Stevens Drive in West Vancouver when a black SUV passed her by, according to the West Vancouver Police Department (WVPD).
The SUV then pulled over and came to a stop.
After that, a male got out of the vehicle and exposed his genitals as the cyclist passed by him.
The WVPD stated in a news release that although officers conducted extensive patrols after the incident, they were unable to locate the suspect or the vehicle.
The suspect is described as a South Asian male who is 173 centimetres (five-feet, eight-inches) tall, appears to be about 30 years old, has a small to medium build, and has short black hair and a trimmed beard.
At the time, he was wearing a dark-coloured t-shirt and black pants.
Anyone who has information about the suspect or incident is asked to contact WVPD or, to remain anonymous, Crime Stoppers.
