Surrey RCMP arrest four protesters near Pacific Highway border crossing
Police in yellow vests faced down vaccine-mandate opponents at one of B.C.'s busiest border crossings.
Today, Surrey RCMP announced that four demonstrators have been taken into custody.
The Mounties allege that they committed the crime of mischief on the Canadian side of the international boundary.
This came a day after a large crowd descended on the area to protest government measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
The Mounties say they have blocked off the area on 176 Street and feeder routes.
The Pacific Highway border crossing remains closed.

Earlier today (February 13), Windsor police arrested several protesters on the Ambassador Bridge, which is a major trade route for goods travelling between Canada and the United States.
Meanwhile, there's a significant backlash against the protesters on social media from Ottawa residents. Here are some of the posts.
