Paraglider lands on power lines in North Vancouver neighbourhood

Last night, a paraglider unexpectedly landed on power lines in North Vancouver.

The incident happened in the Canyon Heights neighbourhood, between Montroyal Boulevard and Ranger Avenue.

Power was cut in the area as a safety precaution for the rescue operation— approximately 3,000 B.C. Hydro customers were affected.

The individual was not injured.
